Zacil Na
Place of Light. Five rooms in total: three in the main building, two of which share a terrace over the infinity pool and the white sand, plus two more in the guest house with private entrances. The main living room opens onto the terrace and pool and is built around a large fountain ringed with cushions, which is where people end up reading, or sitting with the children, or doing nothing at all. The pool runs in three tiers down toward the sand, and there is an open air shower on the beach side for rinsing off in the breeze. The house runs on solar. The two newest bedrooms look over the gardens, and one of them has a moon shower, open to the sky, for washing off under the stars.
Casa del Agua
The house of water. Thatched palapa roofs, timber beams, hand carved doors and woven Mexican textiles, opening straight onto tropical garden and a secluded beach. The terrace is the heart of it. Alfresco dining for ten, the heated infinity pool a step away, and enough room for a large group to be together without anyone losing their own corner. A forty foot thatched roof covers the common area, and folding doors open the whole of it onto the terrace, the private beach and the water. Only two private residences for neighbours, and a five minute walk to the village and marina.
Puerto Estate
For anything above twelve. The two houses share a wall and a beach, so a family of twenty two eats together and still sleeps apart.
At the end of the bay, nobody walks past.
The houses sit on a private beach inside a gated marina community in Puerto Aventuras, at the point where the bay closes. There is no through route to the sand, so the only people on it are the ones staying here.

Do we get the whole house?
Always. Even if your party only opens two of the bedrooms, nobody else is placed in the house with you.
Is the food actually halal?
Yes. We source it ourselves, and we supply other villas on this coast. The kitchen is not mixed and there is no separate menu to ask for.
What if we are only six people?
That works. The rate follows the bedrooms you open rather than the headcount, so a smaller party in a large house is a normal booking.
Can we book both houses?
Yes, as Puerto Estate. Eleven bedrooms and twenty two guests across the two, sharing a beach.
Is there a minimum stay?
Four nights, in every season. There is no longer minimum at peak.
How do we get there?
About an hour south of Cancún airport. Your concierge can arrange transport from the airport, quoted separately from your stay.
